Sea of Cortez - Tondos

Inspired by the marine life and ecosystems of the Sea of Cortez and John Steinbeck’s The Log from the Sea of Cortez (1951), these Tondos (circular art pieces) are a collection of photographic collages. Each piece in this series stems from my research and collaboration with the scientists and laboratories at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography at UC San Diego.
